Kay Sarlin Wright, Executive Director March 19, 2026 by tracey A seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, and public policy, Kay Sarlin Wright oversees the Foundation’s philanthropic grant-making, community programming, and the stewardship of its historic six-acre gardens. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Communications for the Real Estate Board of NY (REBNY) and was the Head of Impact Communications at Audible, where she co-founded the award-winning Newark Working Kitchens initiative. Kay’s extensive background in public service includes serving as a Congressional Chief of Staff, Vice President at The Glover Park Group, and holding senior leadership roles at Empire State Development and the NYC Departments of Transportation and Consumer Affairs. She is a graduate of Hobart & William Smith Colleges and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and resides in Montclair with her husband and three children.
