Director of Facilities Position: Full time Description: The Director of Facilities for Van Vleck House & Gardens is responsible for the care and maintenance of the Main House, garden building, carriage house, Turner Greenhouse, as well as garden structures, and parking lots on the 5.8-acre property. The Director of Facilities reports to the Executive Director and participates on both the Garden and Building Committees. The Director of Facilities keeps the Executive Director apprised of any issues, problems or needs related to the structures described above. Facilities Maintenance Position: Building and Grounds Volunteer Description: Painting, repair work, basic carpentry and other assorted tasks. When: Weekdays 8:00am to 2:00pm, year-round. Minimum of one hour per visit, with at least 24 hours’ advance notice.
