Youn-hee Kim, returning to Van Vleck as a much-admired pianist, is on the piano faculty at both
Montclair State University’s John J. Cali Sch School of Music and the university’s Extension Division. She has performed internationally in solo concerts as well as with orchestras including the New York
Symphony Orchestra, International Chamber Ensemble of Roma and L’orchestra de Perugia in Italy,
Muenster Orchestra in Germany, and the Gangnam Symphony, Incheon Symphony Orchestra in South
Korea. She has won s numerous awards, including the first and best performance award from the 2000
Los Angeles International Liszt Competition.
