Youn-Hee Kim, piano concert

Ms. Kim will devote her entire concert to Florence Price, who composed more than 300 works: four symphonies, four concertos, as well as choral works, art songs, chamber music and music for solo instruments.

Dr. Kim has performed internationally in solo concerts as well as with orchestras including the New York Symphony Orchestra, International Chamber Ensemble of Roma and L’Orchestra de Perugia in Italy, Muenster Orchestra in Germany, and the Gangnam Symphony, Incheon Symphony Orchestra in South Korea. She has been appointed to the piano faculty both in the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University and in the Extension Division of the university since 2012. She also serves as the committee for Music Educators Association of New Jersey Piano Competition.
