
COPE Center is a non-profit agency who’s mission is to provide behavioral healthcare services that are affordable, accessible, and responsive to individual, family, and community needs. The name COPE stand for Counseling, Outreach, Prevention, and Education and its counselors work in the areas of drug and alcohol abuse, family crises, problems in daily living, and AIDS. The COPE Center is based in Montclair and actively engaged in programs throughout Essex County. COPE Was incorporated in 1971 by the Junior League of Montclair and the United Way of North Essex.
