Joaquin F. Stearns

Joaquin F. Stearns is the Senior Vice President of Development for Extell Development Company, a nationally acclaimed real estate developer, where he is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of high end residential, retail, and hotel projects in the New York region.   

Over the past 16 years, Joaquin has overseen the development of more than 2 million square feet of assets valued at over $4.5 billion across multiple building types.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mr. Stearns holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from Pratt Institute School of Architecture. Joaquin enjoys being an active member of his community by serving in the Glen Ridge Historic Preservation Commission since 2021, as well as a volunteer of the ACE Mentor Program for high school students in New York City with an interest in the built environment.
