Christine Marie Yewaisis 

Christine Yewaisis is a Historic Preservation Specialist for New Jersey Transit.

She is a passionate advocate for historic preservation and community engagement and serves as the Co-Chair of the Glen Ridge Historic Preservation Commission. In her dual roles, Christine is dedicated to ensuring that the stories of the past are preserved and celebrated. 

Christine holds a B.A. from Skidmore College, where her passion for history and architecture first took root, and an M.S. in Historic Preservation from Columbia University. A longtime resident of Glen Ridge, Christine resides in Glen Ridge with her husband.  Her daughter currently lives in Washington D.C
