Christine James

Christine James recently retired as a managing director at Allspring Global Investments

Previously, she served as COO of fixed income. She earned a BSBA and MBA from Villanova University and the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Christine’s philanthropic passions are education and the arts. She is an alumna of Lacordaire Academy and has chaired the Board of Trustees since 2009. She is president of the Board of Trustees of the Montclair Art Museum. Christine also serves on the Archdiocesan Parish Council of the Archdiocese of Newark and on the Parish Finance Council of Immaculate Conception Church in Montclair.  She previously served as a trustee of the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania.  Raised in Montclair, she recently returned to live full-time after 30 years in the Philadelphia area.
