Marisabel Raymond

Marisabel Raymond served as President of the Van Vleck Board of Management and Vice Chairman of The Montclair Foundation. 

She chaired the Garden’s successful $2,000,000 capital campaign, co-chaired its implementation, and chairs its Education Committee.

A graduate of University of Massachusetts and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Marisabel was President of the Junior League, a member of the nominating committee of the Association of Junior League International and, among others, served as trustee of MKA and served as a Board Member of Behind the Book in New York. She is now a member of the Junior league of the city of New York.

She received the Junior League Community Service Award, chaired a project that received the
Governor’s Volunteer Award and other recognitions.

She taught at Kean University and Antioch College as well as in the New York and Boston Public Schools.

She is passionate about education, flowers, gardens and the preservation of this extraordinary
community resource.
