Catherine Garrity

Cathy retired in 2019 after a career in corporate lending for PNC, Bank of America and, most recently, Citi.

Cathy is an experienced banking professional, now retired, with strong relationship building and leadership skills.  Career encompassed structuring financial solutions, treasury management and related services for mid- to large-sized businesses at PNC Bank, Bank of America and Citi.  Not-for-profit experience over the years, including present role on the board of The Montclair Foundation, has ranged from Treasurer for St. James Church, Upper Montclair; Teach for America; Montclair Counseling Center; Junior League of Montclair-Newark; to current role on the Ladies’ Golf Committee of the Montclair Golf Club.  Graduate of the University of Kentucky (BA) and Rutgers University (MBA).

In her spare time, Cathy tries to improve her golf and tennis games.
